After two days of meetings, the organizational committee will present you three days of visiting schedule for the participates during November 8th-10th.
1. City and Weather
The venerated Chinese history has strewn the land of and around Beijing with sites of cultural and historical interest. Some of them, such as the Great Wall, Former imperial Palace, Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace et al., are UNESCO-endorsed world cultural heritage sites. Imperial palaces, mansions, gardens and tombs are epitomes of classical Chinese architecture. Over 100 gardens are open to the public. As behooves an international metropolis, Beijing's skyline looks splendid with a jungle of tall buildings in varied and distinct styles. You will not be disappointed if you have time to spare for a visit to the suburbs, where the scenery holds forth the fascination of sequestered repose and unperturbed serenity. In the same year, there will be 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing that attracts the worldwide attention. Beijing will assume a look of peace and prosperity. After the significant gathering, visiting in Beijing is sure to be more interesting and pleasant. Besides, the weather of October in Beijing is the most comfortable in the whole year, with an average temperature stands at about 15°C and humidity at about 40%. And autumn is the most beautiful season here, with a clean and bright sky, flowers blooming everywhere. It is the most favorable time to visit Beijing.
